Discover how attention to this simple concept can lead to connective and satisfying dancing. Jessica Damon is an independent dance artist and teacher of movement. We will utilize sun salutations\, warrior variations\, twists and joint mobility\, static shaking and strengthening and pranayama techniques throughout this short lab. Then we will slow down our movements and engage and lengthen through targeted muscle groups and fascia by using Yin yoga techniques. Yin uses your breath and engaging targeted structures within the body\, and opening through those structures with longer holds within poses. Vinyasa and yin combined can be a great compliment to any rigorous practice of body movement. Then we will slow down our movements and engage and lengthen through targeted muscle groups and fascia by using Yin yoga techniques.
