We are musicians who observe\, support\, and hold space for the connection between dancers and musicians formed during a live dance/music event. One common thread in the music of NataDas at this point is Trey Crispin\, the curator and leader of these ensembles for live performance. He has been performing live ecstatic dances for 15 years. NataDas – Servant of Dance – is a group that creates a deep moving tapestry of sound that looks to the movements of dancers as our written music. In our opinion everyone gets farther when we do these things together and not alone. In this class\, you will get a glimpse into the depths of this form – contact improvisation. The class will be taught with a playful lens and will focus on building capacities to track and sense while working with a partner. Hana’s style of teaching is fun\, with a foundation around anatomy and physics as well as deep somatic presence. These classes are for all levels\, each class will build on each other but drop ins are welcome! \n\n\n\nKyle is a SOMA Breath Master Transformational Coach\, Qigong instructor\, music producer\, ecstatic dance DJ and Alkhemist with over a decade of experience in internal alkhemy arts. He is the founder of Soma Alkhemy\, a D’Jedi training and syncretic system of holistic healing and transformation for the modern day spiritual seeker which combines ancient alkhemy practices from both eastern and western traditions with modern technology and scientific understanding.
