Magdalyn debuted as a DJ in Asheville in the summer of 2024, aligning with the rise of Venus. With over a decade of experience curating festivals, conscious gatherings, and ecstatic dance waves in Floyd, Virginia, she brings a seasoned devotion to movement-centered music spaces. Now a regular presence on Asheville’s ecstatic dance floors, she is first and foremost a lover of the dance. Magdalyn crafts sets that blend conscious lyrics, world beats, and juicy, booty-shaking rhythms, guiding dancers through immersive journeys that celebrate connection, transformation, and the pleasure of being fully moved by music.

Flow Arts Movement Lab with Be

February’s movement lab offers a mix of optional hoop skill-building and an open, self-guided flow space. Hoops will be provided, or bring your own favorites — poi, staff, fans, hoops, etc. Whether you’re here for focused hoop practice, freeform flow, or a little of both, this lab is designed to support exploration, creativity, and embodied play.
